In some róoms, infrared signals cán bounce off refIective surfaces, and maké the MCE rémotes receiver see somé signals twice. To prevent this, each button on the MCE remote, has multiple IR signals associated with it, and each have to come in sequence to work (unless you disable this). Click start run regedit and navigate to the location for your version of media center. Set this tó 0 to make windows MCE compatible with a universal remote control, and restart the computer. You can now either learn the codes with your remote or program them in manually using the media center infrared codes below, and as long as MCE receives the signal from your remote, it will act on it.
